Xavier-kun's Manga Review : All you need is kill by Takeshi Obata,Hiroshi Sakurazaka and Ryousuke Takeuchi

Konnichiwa!!
Hello my fellow otaku, It's Xavier-kun here with a review of the new manga All You Need is Kill! The manga follows the life Keiji Kiriya, a soldier in the earths army against the alien species known only as "Mimics". But the twist is that on our hero's first day of fighting on the front lines... he dies... and then wakes up exactly the day before his deployment. So the story follows Keiji as he is constantly dying and being reborn and gaining more experience along the way.

Art
The Art for All You Need is Kill is amazing to say the least, and it is clearly made the one and only Takeshi Obata(the artist of Death Note, Bakuman, Ral Ω Grad and Hikaru no Go). Really I don't need to say anything else but I will anyways, THE ART IS AMAZING, you may think that I am over-exaggerating but I truly don't think so.
Look at the composition, the balance, the proportions, the mech armor, but most notably the immaculate screen tone work. As a manga artist in training this makes me so encouraged and inspired to work hard, it's pretty easy when you have such a great artist to look up to.

Story/Plot
The story is incredible, It's actually so good that this manga is an adaptation based off of the light novel series. That is enough proof that the story is amazing, it literally was selling thousands of copies by itself.

Final Remarks
Read it because it's amazing and deep and enticing. 10/10 I had no problems with this manga I loved the characters and the world.
Also after you read it watch the trailer for the Hollywood rendition of it. It is yet again, complete garbage, don't watch it when it comes out, it is a disgrace to anime/light novels/live action/life. (you would think they would stop after Dragon Ball Z Evolution)

Angie-Chans video game review : Ragnarok online 2

Hello everyone, recently i was on STEAM looking for a new game to play, when i came across a game called "Ragnarok  2 legend of the second"  (the art looked kinda mangaish so i thought it was worth a shot). So when i finally managed to figure out how to download it ( i suck with computers)
i started to play.

The first thing you do is watch the intro which is kinda cliche.. it basically tells you the world is going to die and it nees a hero (you). Then you create your character, you can choose to be a swordsman, magician, archer, thief, or an acolyte... i chose to be a thief since it made me feel like a badass. Next you choose your job you can be an alchemist, artisan, blacksmith, or a chef... for that one i chose artisan because it sounds like some kind of salad dressing. after that you can customise the way you look such as changing hair color or eye shape etc. , then you make up your name.

So after all that work on my character i began to play and......the graphics were terrible. It may have just been my computer, but the graphics were worse than trying to play Minecraft on your GPS....... yeah. i kinda stopped playing after that, but it seemed to me like you go around beating other players up to gain levels or something to that effect..... all i could manage to do was try and kill a little bouncy thing called a baby poring, i managed to kill myself in the process :/
i just realized these baby pimple thingys look allot like Pikachu see....

So in conclusion, i would say you should only play this game if you have a computer with good graphics and high resolution, because if you have a dumb dumb computer like me- the game is pretty crappy.

Joe-San's ST&RS Review

ST&RS Volume One Cover.jpg

ST&RS Written By Takeuchi Ryosuke Illustrated By Miyokawa Masura

Hey! What's up guys?! ST&RS is a fairly new manga as it was just published in 2011.  When I read the first few chapters I wasn't really interested but it really started to pick up in the later chapters.  Speaking of chapters, it has 32 (ongoing) and is running in Shonen Jump.  It should have an anime, because it's interesting enough, but I haven't heard that one is planned.  Of course it may not be long enough for anime.

Story/Plot
The story is set mostly in the years 2033-2035 in Japan.  It begins in the year 2019 when earth gets a message from an extraterrestrial being to meet on Mars in the year 2035.  When the broadcast telling the world about the message was aired the infant Maho Shirafune spoke his first words "Mars". This inspired his passion for space and his goal to meet the aliens on mars.  When Maho graduates middle school he enters a space training academy high school called ST&RS.  Where he strives to be picked to go on the flight to Mars in 2035.

Art
The art is similar to a lot of other newer Jump comics and with the futuristic feel fits well.  I also really like the spaceships Miyokawa-Sensei drew.  They look pretty cool and the backgrounds display a good supporting futuristic feel.

Final Remarks
ST&RS is a pretty interesting Manga, in the fact, it's kinda unique with the astronaut theme.  Yet its similar with common Shonen features.  A good read none the less really starts to pick up at the end.  You should definitely check it out.

Xavier-kun's Arcade Style Fighting Game Rampage:King of Fighters XIII

Konnichiwa!!

Hey its Xavier-kun here with the second installment of my arcade style fighting game series of reviews and its a doozy that's right
the classic Completely anime styled game is back with  the 13th installment and I know, I get the same kinda

feeling when you see 13 because you know there has to be a few more 18 to be exact(not counting remakes/hd versions) but aside from the big number its there for a reason so lets get it on. hehhehheh

Story
The story behind King of Fighters is pretty good although it has one of those story's that are separate from the arcade mode. To get the real story mode that incorporates all of the characters instead of just character-character relationships there is a story mode which is like a visual novel instead of a fight some then watch/read a cut scene it's just straight words which is OK if you need a manga to read because it feels like a book but slightly better(not as good as an anime or a manga but ok-ish all the same)
Now with the story that comes with arcade mode, it's really good because you learn about the love-hate-I'm gonna rip you limb from limb, relationship that all the characters have with each other so it gets you really knowing the characters.

Graphics
The graphics for King of Fighters is really really Really good. Why 3 "really's" you ask, because of all the anime artwork! All of character designs are done in anime style which is really awesome because come on what can't anime art make better? It's a scientific fact that anime makes the world a better place to live in. Another tidbit is that the art is all done in pixels which makes could make you think the game would look kinda

Right? But that couldn't be further from

see the difference?

Balance
The balance for King of Fighters is really close to street fighter but with a little more aerial combo accessibility so that opens a few more combo ideas to float in your head.

Characters
Well he we are again with the lack of character difference being pretty clearly evident in this game it makes want to just walk across the ocean, to the developers headquarters and just

...everywhere...everywhere...EVERYWHERE!
It honestly gets on my last nerves when company's make games with characters that all fall into a couple of categories and to make it worse the characters are put into teams that play relatively the same, almost like each character covers for the others weaknesses which would be cool if it was a tag team game but of course not its choose the order of your team, and play each character to their deaths.

9/10-Great game,Great Graphics 50-50 Characters
